SEATTLE, WA–United Negro College Fund seeks youth between the ages of
12-24 to participate in a vocal Master’s Class conducted by the Grammy
Award Winning Acapella Group Take 6, Sunday , March 16, 2008.
Participating youth must be currently enrolled in a music class or be
participating in a choir associated with a school, church or other
organization. During the course of the Master’s Class Take 6 develops a
song and works with participants to teach them the piece over a 2 hour
period. Group members provide direction in voice and share their
history and experience in the music industry. The class is punctuated
by a mini performance including one song performed by Take 6 at the
beginning and end of the class. The class will be held at Emerald City
Community Seventh-day Adventist Church in Seattle. Details regarding
the class structure and time will be provided with registration
materials.
